Who we are
Al Qamar is a non-profit project for the Muslims of Uzbekistan. This policy covers both the Qamar app (for Android and iOS) and the alqamar.app website. Contact us at salom@alqamar.app.
The app
The app has no registration and no accounts. No ads. No analytics or trackers.
Prayer times, the qibla direction and all texts are computed and stored entirely on your device. Vird history and settings never leave your phone.
If the app crashes, it may send an anonymous crash report — it contains no personal data.
The website
Leaving your email on the waitlist is voluntary. The address is stored in a private Google Sheet, used for a single launch announcement, and then deleted. You can ask to be removed at any time by writing to salom@alqamar.app.
The site uses Vercel Analytics — cookieless and aggregated, with no personal identifiers. The site sets no cookies.
Children
The app and the site are suitable for all ages. We knowingly collect nothing — from anyone.
Changes
Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page.
